It was “Bitter and Sweet” watching this match. Venus, the more senior champion, and the newcomer 15 year old Cori (CoCo) competing against each other. CoCo reminded me so much of a younger Venus. I know it is the passing of the torch but I’m not ready to see Venus on the back nine of her career.

I guess what I can relish in is that the future of Tennis is in good hands as I can say I haven’t seen this kind of tenacity from a young teen ever. I mean Serena and Venus were and still are tenacious but ummm CoCo is different. Cori Gauff is definitely a name to familiarize yourself with.

In the meantime watch when these Tennis jackets drop we bout to get on some other ish. LOL.
